Our philosophy is built around creating free and fearless kids. Teaching and encouraging skills mastery, confidence to try new things, and physical and mental fortitude are the cornerstones of our program.
Play captures the essence of adventure, passion, and joy in kids and teens when playing their favourite sports, trying new things, and tackling life’s challenges so they can step out of our gyms knowing they can do whatever they set out to do.
Through carefully prepared programs, our team of passionate and experienced Coaches help each child to take on their workout with the intensity and focus which they can apply in all aspects of their life.
By providing tools to face challenging workouts and refusing to quit, they become resilient and tenacious. Learning to respect and celebrate each other’s unique abilities, while striving to improve something every day. How we do anything is how we do everything.
Our aim is to make learning about lifelong fitness the most fun possible!
5 - 10 Yrs
Will be focused on movement patterns, co-ordination, balance, agility, flexibility and body weight strength.
Mostly short conditioning pieces paired with games and interactive drills. Lots of Fun!!
8 - 12 yrs
Building on the Level 1 skills with more attention given to accuracy, movement, stamina and speed.
In addition, kids in Level 2 will learn new a strength movement vocabulary with props like dumbbells medicine balls and kettle bells.
The kids will cover a section of skills or strength with a 10-15 min intense workout.
10 - 15yrs
Level 2 work will be further developed with a focus on power development within the established movements, the introduction of a barbell broadens their horizons in training.
In Level 3, kids will utilise the barbell in almost all classes. In addition, we introduce the kids to more challenging skills in bodyweight and gymnastics movements.
There will be longer more complex workouts in this level.

The standard foundation class for the Jnrs program. ALL kids should attend this class before doing special classes.
CrossFit is varied and functional movemetns at relative intensity. Incorporating weight training, basic gymnastics, and overall fitness for a healthy lifestyle. Levels will be determined based on attendees.
A safe and effective muscle-building program geared toward strength, power, and overall fitness for young athletes. Only available for 11yrs and over. No prior experience required.
Advanced skills development for CrossFit, requiring a baseline strength level. Prerequisite; 1 full strict pull-up , 5 strict push ups, comfortable in the Handstand position. Best for 11 yrs and over with some exceptions on invitation.
Enhancing skills in Clean and Jerk, Snatch, Squat, Deadlift, and Press, focusing on form and injury prevention. Must be 12 yrs and over with at least 6 months juniors experience.






CrossFit Play Juniors is not just a watered-down version of our broader CrossFit program; it is a carefully designed and programmed version. Every child is given the opportunity to build their fitness level no matter what stage of fitness they are at when they commence training at Play.
Content and class structure begins to resemble the adult program as the child progresses through the many levels of CrossFit Play Juniors.
The structure of progressions is more focused to allow the development of their growing bodies, advancing the skills to suit the individual’s maturity as well as physicality.
In saying that, no classes are ever the same and the BIG FUN and Excitement of the workouts means they are never bored.
Every child is different, and it will vary based on their other activities. It is recommended for Level 3 that they attend 2 or more sessions a week to allow balance in overall movement development. Children can attend up to 5 times a week without risk, every class is varied.

Any child can start at any time. We do run Level’s 1-3 on a term basis with school holiday options. Level 4 runs all year.
The first step is to fill out the form on this page. Once complete, one our our caring Juniors’ team will contact you to get your classes confirmed and talk about your specific needs.
Juniors will nominate the day and time that both suits the level and schedule agreed on. The booking allows the coach to cater the class plan and progressions to suit the students who are attending. Missed lessons can be made up from time to time but it is most effective to stick to the same day or days each week.
Once the day is decided the term fees are set up in Wodify and they will then be recurring each term until the cancelation is given.
